Turn everyday sounds, loops, and recordings into playable instruments.

Explore creative sampling with Ableton Live’s Simpler. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll learn how to find or record sounds, chop and slice audio using transients, build custom drum kits, and transform samples into playable instruments. We’ll cover the basics of Simpler and sample editing while exploring how artists use sampling to turn existing and found sounds into entirely new music. No advanced Ableton experience required.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops with Ableton Live installed to follow along.
