About the Album:
September 3rd is the 50th anniversary of the release of Mort Garson's Plantasia, one of the earliest all-synthesizer records. It was recorded entirely on a Moog IIIc. Originally, it was only available to customers who purchased a houseplant from the Mother Earth boutique in Los Angeles or a Simmons mattress from Sears. In those 50 years it has become one of the most beloved and widely-pressed records of all time, often seen for sale in record shops and nurseries.
