Intro to Ableton Live

  • Synth Library Portland 123 Northeast 3rd Avenue Portland, Oregon, 97232 United States (map)

New to Ableton Live? This workshop covers the basics so you can start making music on your own.

We’ll go through how Live is laid out and what the Session and Arrangement views are for. You’ll learn how to load instruments and samples, record and edit MIDI, build a simple beat, and arrange your ideas into a song. By the end you’ll have a short track you made yourself and a clear sense of where to go next.

No experience needed.

Instructor: Stuart Frederich-Smith
